We see ourselves as a trendsetter and an innovation driver: We build on proven state-of-the-art technologies, such as Java, TypeScript and Cloud, as well as on such development and operating methods as Co-Creation and DevOps. Furthermore, however, we also engage intensively in such issues as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Virtual Reality and Voice Interface.

Our solutions are always centred on our customers: We design our solutions and processes to meet their requirements. Regardless of the channel they use to search for vehicles or services – we ensure that our systems offer them a seamless experience.

Porsche Informatik is a subsidiary of Porsche Holding Salzburg, the largest and most successful car trading company in Europe. We have been under the umbrella of the Volkswagen-Konzerns since March 2011.

Social responsibility and a high standard of ethics have made Porsche Holding what it is today: the most successful automotive distributor in Europe.

As a company with operations around the globe, to Porsche Holding compliance means that its employees not only abide by current law but also adhere to a set of moral principles that go beyond merely observing the law. These principles have been set down in the company’s own Code of Conduct. Naturally they apply to all levels of the Group and to all countries where Porsche Holding operates.

To be able to improve processes, you have to understand them. Proximity to the automotive business is embedded in our identity. Our customer solutions rely on IT know-how and depth of expertise. Our staff have technological foresight, know the business processes and can accordingly advise our clients.

We always focus on the needs of our customers and their commercial success. When it comes to long-term orientation, we therefore think in terms of products rather than projects. Our solutions are subject to continuous improvement and further development. Our work here is strongly geared towards open source and innovation.

We also work on large projects in small developer teams. The flat hierarchies allow our teams to operate highly autonomously. This ensures flexibility and a high level of independence and simultaneously more responsibility and self- organisation.
